The absolute best restaurant in Dawsonville. The food and service is always outstanding. The chef adjusts the menu, so there are new things to try, along with favorites. If you love French cuisine, you have to eat at the Blue Bicycle. I have yet to have anything on the menu, that I did not love. As for the menu, the blue cheese chips, chicken liver mouse and pimento cheese starters are not to be missed. The wild shrimp with grit cake is outstanding. The Steak fries are great too. I highly recommend eating here, enjoy.

A hidden gem in Dawsonville, The Blue Bicycle - a bistro was delicious. The menu is accessed via a QR code on your phone as well as on a tablet that they provide. We originally stopped for lunch because they offered duck on the menu and my husband loves duck. He was very pleased with his meal. I had the curry chicken salad sandwich with french fries. I would have liked more curry in my salad but that's just my personal preference. The desserts were wonderful. I had an orange brandy creme brule (more orange, please) and my husband had the chocolate hazelnut mousse. The restaurant offers a full bar with special drink offerings, both with and without alcohol. Each table has a different set of salt and pepper shakers - ours were Legos. Lunchtime on a Thursday wasn't overly busy. Staff was very friendly. We look forward to returning again soon.

My mother and I just ate at this 5 star restaurant yesterday. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was relaxing with good mood music in the background and most importantly the food was displayed with the most artistic touch!!! We loved everything! Exquisite dishes that taste amazing! We will most definitely be going back and will be bringing more people to share this great experience. Thank you, Guy!

This was a surprisingly good restaurant in a quiet side road behind the outlet malls. The food was delicious and the menu was unique. We ate the quiche and the curry dusted halibut. Both were cooked to perfection. The decor and service was also excellent.

I wanted to try this place for years and just never made it. Now im kicking myself! Absolutely fabulous! Great everything! I had the trout and the chocolate hazelnut mousse. Everything was melt-in-my-mouth delicious. The green beans were just as tasty as the trout, not just a lowly side item. The mousse was so light and delicate that it matched perfectly with the previous dish. Service and ambiance are both warm and inviting. Great for a date night or ladies brunch.

The Blue Bicycle really means it when they say, “Come, relax, eat and enjoy.” I came here for my birthday dinner with a group of friends and had an amazing time; the atmosphere and friendly staff makes the Blue Bicycle a nice cozy spot for a great meal. First off, if you ever come here and the Exotic Mushrooms with Gnocchi is on the menu, get it. Your only regret will be that you did not have enough patience to take a picture of your dish before diving into this beautiful and savory appetizer (like me). For my main, I chose the Seared Smoked Duck Breast which had a nice and light sauce. The dish was good overall but my rice felt a little harder/dryer than I would have liked. Our table also tried the seasonal Laura’s Ratatouille which was fantastic and the goat cheese on top made it that much better. We finished our night with desserts, mine being a peaches and cream cake which was a refreshing and sweet end to a great evening with my friends. The Blue Bicycle is definitely worth a try and if you ever find yourself there, take some time to appreciate the cute little salt and pepper shakers they have for each table!

My daughter wanted to eat fancy tonight so we dressed up and went to the bicycle to test the food. We were not disappointed! We started with escargot with red wine sauce. VERY good and loved the goat cheese crumbles. My 5 yr old tried it (without knowing what it was lol) and she said it was good. We loved it compared to others escargot dishes we’ve had. For dinner, we had the duck with blueberry sauce and chicken with mustard sauce. The duck was sweeter than I anticipated, but it was still tasty. The star of the night was the chicken by far. This was recommended to us by the waiter if I could remember his name, I would give him the credit. That’s the dish. I have to figure out how to make it home because it was extremely good. Dessert was chocolate mousse, and the lemon creme brulee. The creme brulee was amazing! Nice lemon flavor and the bitterness of the scorched sugar helped with the sweetness. All said this is a wonderful place to eat! My little town is known for chain restaurants. Having a place with a changing menu where everything is freshly made is a breath of fresh air! We will be coming back for sure many times a year. My daughter got credit for a great idea!
